How Signal52 Works

Every trading day after market close, Signal52's pipeline screens roughly 3,000 US-listed stocks against 25 published technical signals spanning DNA (structural quality), Action (entry timing), and Risk (warning flags) categories. Results are read alongside a daily market regime classification (Risk-On, Risk-Off, Neutral, or Caution) and a volatility state, which together shape how any individual signal should be interpreted that day. The highest-conviction setup is published as the Pick of the Day, and a separate Policy Pick surfaces stocks tied to verified federal contracts, regulatory action, or government spending. Every pick is logged to a public track record with 7, 30, and 60-day performance versus the S&P 500, so accuracy claims can be checked rather than taken on faith.

Data & Update Cadence

Signal52 refreshes every trading day after the market closes. Price, volume, news, and economic indicators are collected from the day's session, signals are recomputed across the full stock universe, and the dashboard, picks, briefing, and insights are republished with that evening's data. Weekends and market holidays continue to show the most recent trading day's analysis.
