How Signal52 computes it
Three checks: yesterday qualified as an inside day, today’s high exceeded yesterday’s high, and today closed above its open. The pattern is evaluated on daily bars only.
How to read it
This is a micro-structure trigger, so its meaning comes almost entirely from location. An Inside Out at the top of a tight base or at a moving-average retest is an early, low-slippage entry. The same pattern mid-range is noise. It pairs naturally with Quiet Storm and Bollinger Squeeze, which describe the larger compression this pattern resolves.
