What it detects
Perfect Stack fires when a stock’s moving averages align in full bullish order: the 8-day EMA above the 21-day EMA, above the 50-day SMA, above the 200-day SMA. Short, swing, intermediate, and long timeframes all agree on the trend.
How Signal52 computes it
The pipeline computes the four averages from daily closes, exponential for 8 and 21 days and simple for 50 and 200, and requires all three inequalities to hold at once: EMA8 > EMA21 > SMA50 > SMA200.
How to read it
Full alignment is the structure institutional trend-followers favor, and it backtests as one of the stronger DNA traits. When the stack breaks, typically with the EMA8 slipping below the EMA21, that is an early mechanical warning that a trend is losing support. Expect heavy overlap with Golden Cross; the stack is simply the stricter version.
