What it detects
Seller Fatigue fires when a stock keeps holding near its highs while trading volume dries up to less than half its normal level. If holders wanted out at these prices, volume would show it. Silence near highs implies the supply of willing sellers is running out.
How Signal52 computes it
Two conditions: today’s volume at or below 50% of the 50-day average volume, and price within the near-high distance threshold of its 52-week high. Both must be true the same day.
How to read it
Volume dry-ups are constructive context rather than entries. The stock is demonstrating that it can stay up without fresh buying. The setup typically resolves when volume returns, so watch for Quiet Accumulation or Breakout on the same name in the following days. Repeated Seller Fatigue days inside a tight range strengthen the case.
